Broadway to Dim Lights in Honor of James Gandolfini

Broadway will pay homage to actor James Gandolfini Wednesday evening by dimming its lights. According to My Fox NY, the marquee lights along Broadway will go dark for one minute at 8pm in honor of the late actor.

The 51-year-old actor died last week of a heart attack while in Italy. Although Gandolfini is probably best known for his portrayal of Tony Soprano on HBO's "The Sopranos," the actor also had a successful run on stage. Gandolfini was nominated for a Tony award for Best Actor in a Play in 2009 for his role in "God of Carnage."
